Using the Computer in the Young EFL learner Language Classroom.
2. Visit the following links for:
A Guide to Using the Internet to teach young learners
and Children's development.
3. Click here to be directed to a list of useful websites for those teaching young EFL learners.
4. If you have the time you can have a look at ELT notebook, a very interesting site with a variety of ideas and tips on what to do with young learners.
Homework for week 5.
Start thinking about what you could do with your kids - take into consideration their age, abilities and likes and prepare a lesson for them using Internet-based activities.
Create a page with the URLof the activity and a brief description of the activity, classroom organization, supplementary material used if any, and problems that you think are likely to occur. Add a few comments on how you plan to handle them.
This activity will be presented to the rest of the group during week 5.
All you have to do is upload it to our activity wiki at http://internet4ylactivities.pbworks.com right after you prepare it.
This wiki will be a source you will be able to visit whenever you need to.

On behalf of the moderating team, welcome to the session's wiki. As you can see, myself and Sandra will be with you throughout this week. So, go trough the tasks, start working and whatever you need, do not hesitate to ask. Remember, there are no silly questions or silly mistakes. We all learn from our mistakes.
As far as the newbies are concerned, just do not worry. It is all clearer and easier day by day.
Smiles from Cyprus
