Joanna Rodiki Petrides

Hi, everyone. I am Joanna from Cyprus. It feels good to be back. This is my second EVO session, and I am really excited. I am a trained primary school teacher, and EFL teacher currently teaching at primary education and acting as an EFL coordinator for the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus. I have a Masters in Applied Linguistics for Language teaching and a PhD in Modern Language Teaching. Apart form Language teaching, teacher training and materials design, my interests focus on implementing technologies of communication in education and CALL (last year I passed the European Computer Driving License Exams ).

Last year I moderated the Interactive activities session. This year I am one of the moderators of the Internet4Young Learners session

Hana Prashker

I am Hana Prashker. I will be moderating Internet for Young EFL Learners this year. I have been involved with online learning and teaching since 1999. Two years ago, I co-moderated E-Assessment in Language Teaching. Currently, I teach Kindergarten to 5th grade ESL in New Jersey, USA. I am looking forward to working online again with teachers. It is always a great learning experience for me.

Sandra Annette Rogers

Hello,

I'm a new EVO moderator for Internet for Young EFL Learners. Currently, I teach reading online for the University of South Alabama. I worked for the ESL and Spanish educational publisher, Hampton-Brown as their product manager for two years in Carmel, California. Additionally, I worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) for 8 years as an ESL and Spanish bilingual elementary teacher, and as an Open Court Literacy Coach. My career highlights include serving as an English Teaching Fellow to Mozambique with USIA, serving as a dual language Pre-K demonstration teacher for UCLA's laboratory school, and serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras. I have also taught EFL to teenagers and adults in Brazil and Guatemala at their binational institutes, as well as ESL at various universities in the US. I'm very excited to be a part of the EVO sessions for 2010!
